On Saturday 25th November we are heading north of the border again! Following on from the success of our trip last year a visit to Lodge St. Bryde No 579, Glasgow, Scotland has been planned to watch their annual installation meeting.
This is an ideal opportunity for Freemasons and non-Freemasons to visit UGLE and enjoy the highly commended Prestonian Lecture. Non-Freemasons are then at liberty to join one of our specially commissioned tours of the building or go into London and enjoy the sights of the city whilst the Brethren join members of the Master Masons Forum who will perform the Second Degree Ceremony and Tracing Board
We would like to extend a warm invitation to our clubs members, their friends and family, as we will be meeting at around 5pm on Saturday 14th October in a reserved area in Pennyblacks, Mailbox, Birmingham.
The Five of Nine Club is honoured to host the Tercentenary year's New and Young Masons Clubs (NYMC) Conference, which will see representatives of NYMC from across the country come to together for their annual meeting, working collectively for the benefit of clubs across the country.
As you know, each year the Provincial Grand Lodge of Warwickshire holds an event for Initiates at which those Brethren who have been initiated within the past year are invited with their partners to meet the Provincial Team. This year it will be in the form of a Dinner and will be held at The Manor Hotel, 127 Main Road, Meriden, CV7 7NH on Thursday 12th October 2017, at 7 pm for 7.30 pm.
We all enjoy a nice ale, but have you ever wondered how it gets from field to tap? If so come and join us on Saturday 30th September for our brewery tour and a social event being held at the Two Tours Brewery, Gunmakers Arms, 93 Bath Street, Birmingham, B4 6HG.
The Five of Nine Club’s next Freemasonry in the Community event will be held in conjunction with a Summer BBQ and will take place at Rough Close Scout Campsite on the 12th August 2017, this an event for the whole family!

St. Paul’s Club is a Warwickshire Masonic meeting room and can be reached by car or foot from central Birmingham and is conveniently located near to St Paul’s Tram Stop and Snowhill Train Station with ample parking at Ludgate Hill Car Park.

You have the wonderful opportunity to witness and be a part of an amazing and rare event. On Saturday 3rd June, the Assistant Grand Master the Right Worshipful Brother Sir David Wootten, President of the UGLE University Scheme will be consecrating the new Collegiate Lodge No. 9943 in Coventry in the province of Warwickshire.
The 2017 Meeting will be open to ALL Masons including Entered Apprentices and Fellowcrafts, together with Wives, Partners and Friends. Brethren and Guests are to be seated by 10.30am. Lunch will follow the meeting and will be finished by 3.30pm.

Universities Scheme visit to Quarterly Communication
Whilst the event is aimed primarily at members of Scheme Lodges, it is open to interest from other younger members in the Province whether individually or through a ‘Light Blue Club’.
On Wednesday 14th September, members of all Lodges within the Universities Scheme who are Master Masons and above, are cordially invited to attend the first Scheme visit to Quarterly Communication. Quarterly Communication (QC) is an official meeting of the governing body of Freemasonry (UGLE) and is always presided over by one of the Rulers of the Craft (the Grand Master, Pro GM, DepGM or AGM).
It's time to pull your sleeves up and join the Five of Nine Club in taking Freemasonry into the Community.
