It's time to pull your sleeves up and join the Five of Nine Club in taking Freemasonry into the Community. Your club needs you...
Freemasonry and Charity as we all know go hand in hand, the committee have decided that we are going to break away from the normal Masonic activity of raising funds for worthy causes and want to take the club out in the community to make a difference by lending a helpful hand.
Club chairman WBro Dan said,
'Taking Freemasonry into the local community, helping charities and good causes by having an active part in something like tidying up a public space or decorating a room, I hope will make a great difference which many people will benefit from and also with people seeing us in action, it will help promote the Club and Freemasonry in general'.
The first such activity is planned for 9:00 am on Saturday 13th August 2016 where we will be attending the Acorns Children's Hospice in Birmingham, one of the Provincial Grand Masters Famous Five Charities and decorating some of their public spaces. Bacon sandwiches will be provided along with copious amounts of coffee to keep you fuelled.
So please come and join us, even if it's for an hour your help will be greatly appreciated by us and Acorns and as we know that many hands make light work!
- We are meeting at 9:00 am Saturday 13th August @ Acorn's Children's Hospice, 103 Oak Tree Lane, Selly Oak, Birmingham B29 6HZ.
So we can make plan's, please let our Masonic Secretary know your attending by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
