After the exceptionally successful Freemasonry in the Community event charity day last year, where Five of Nine members, friends and family rallied around to support Acorns Hospice - we are honoured to go back and help Acorns Children’s Hospice on their 30th Anniversary Community Summer Fete and Fundraising day.
Come along to Selly Oak hospice on 8th September and enjoy their annual fete! Enjoy excellent food, stalls and games on this fun day out for the whole family. And do it all while raising vital funds for the children and families they support.
Acorn's mission is incredible. Helping Children with life limiting or life threatening care needs and supporting their families in what must be the most harrowing time. Five of Nine members were so moved by the great work undertaken at Acorns Children’s Hospice we just had to go back.
'This time, it’s less manual labour and more about Fun, Friends and Family!'
The Anniversary Community Summer Fete and Fundraising day is on Saturday 8th September at Acorns Hospice, Birmingham B29 6HZ. The expected footfall is around 350 people, and the aim is to bring friends, partners and family to the event and enjoy what promises to be a special day. Be prepared go home with arms and bellies full, but pockets empty in the name of a good cause.
The day opens at Midday and will close between by 5-6pm and includes:
Lots of great stalls,
The Hog Roast BBQ
run by our very own Warwick Wakefield
- Numerous food outlets
- Local performers do a turn throughout the day, singers, music and even bagpipes!
- And lots, lots more…
Acorn’s Children’s Hospice is one of the Famous Five Charities, and we have received encouragement and support from Warwickshire Provincial Grand Lodge to help make this an excellent day for all!
